I’m partial to a bit of ‘live’ trip blogging so for the next 10 days I’ll be attempting to bring you a day by day account of my trip to Punta Gorda, Florida.

Back to Day 7!

I don’t have many pictures today as we didn’t do much worth photographing! I was up at about 8am and we got ready to head out to Boca Grande which has a lighthouse and beach. The sky was a bit cloudy and it was a cooler day today.

When you get onto Boca Grande you have to pay to get in! Everyone drives around in golf buggies and the houses are massive haha. We drove to the beach at the tip and took some photos, on the beach and of the lighthouse

We also found this tree that someone had attached loads of shells to. You can’t swim here as the current is dangerous.

After we were finished, we headed to Port Charlotte so I could have a final look around the mall. I got some last bits I wanted from Bath and Body Works and those kindof places. We were home for about 4pm and got changed to go in the pool but it was cold today so I didn’t stay in too long!

This evening I’ve been packing – I’m about half done so I feel more relaxed now!

Total step count (as of 9:09pm): 8,316
Number of lengths swam: 50
