Throughout the month of August I will be taking part in a poetry challenge. Today’s challenge is to write a five line poem to the last person I texted.
Isn’t it sad that the last text on my phone is from my Dad?
Perhaps it’s because we’re in an age where instead of texts, instant messages fill the page
But a Dad is a strong sturdy two letter text, the reminder to have fun (but be safe)
Well you’re always on my case!
Dad, don’t forget, I’m not a child, I’m 26 – but I guess you can’t teach an old Dad new tricks.
