I’m terrible at it, but I love wrapping presents. Big, small, (but mostly the easy ones in boxes) I just can’t get enough of pretty wrapping paper.

Christmas Wrapping

This year, for my ‘theme’, I chose something I’ve wanted to try for years. I got plain brown parcel paper from Flying Tiger Copenhagen for a vintage type style.

During the Boxing Day sales of 2015, I brought the majority of my embellishments for wrapping this year. In Paperchase, they have brilliant wrapping kits and come the 26th December, they have huge mark downs in cost. I have three sets, and all of them were cheaper than £2.

To go with my brown parcel paper, I wanted a red, white and green theme to match my tree. Traditional Christmas colours! So in my wrapping packs were little embellishments like ribbon, bows, pom poms, and more. To top it all off, I finally got to use my amazing Dr Suess The Grinch gift tags which I brought from Florida back in May! They really are the sweetest things ever.

I have 3 nephews and a niece, and for them I had plain gift tags – I coerced Liam into drawing a little cartoon on each of those, so we have some funny pictures including an elf and a reindeer.

I was really proud of my wrapping this year. Now I’m just dreading watching everyone tear their presents open!

What do you think of my Christmas wrapping? Do you have a wrapping theme?
